8th Grade Graduation
Ceremony is the first graduation in a series of graduations in a person’s life.
It is a moment charged with emotion, sadness and happiness altogether as
parents, teachers and colleagues come to wish them the best of luck for the
future.
The ceremony is usually organized by
the 8th grade together with the 7th grade; students sing
goodbye songs, give flowers to their teachers, thank them for their efforts
along the years and promise to make them proud. The 8th grade
representative hands the 7th grade leader the key of knowledge
wishing them better results; both of them held short speeches in which they
utter words of appreciation regarding their teachers, parents and colleagues.
At the end of the ceremony, the 8th
graders receive graduation diplomas and the director and their form teacher congratulate
them on their graduation. Flowers then abound!
